We are the data controller for the information described here — meaning we decide why it is collected and what happens to it.
What we collect, and only when you hand it over
The website does not ask you to create an account and does not track you around the internet. There is no advertising pixel on it.
If you use the chat panel, the quote form or the contact form we collect the name, phone number, email address and job description you type in. Nothing more, and nothing you have not typed.
Why we hold it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, and give you a price. That is the whole purpose.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — you asked a builder for a quote, so you expect a builder to call you back. Where we need consent instead, such as sending you marketing later, we ask separately and you can withdraw it at any time.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number through the chat panel, the quote form or the contact form, you are asking us to text you back about that enquiry. Replying to your job is the only thing we use it for. Message frequency varies with the enquiry — in practice a handful of messages while we get your job booked in. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or call us on 07846 856035.
We do not share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is sold, and none is passed to anyone else for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry is delivered into our customer system, GoHighLevel, which stores it on our behalf. The website itself is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Both act on our instructions.
We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work: TO CONFIRM — a common period is 12 months, then deletion.
Customer records where we did the work: kept for 6 years, because tax and contract law require it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email us and we will action it within one month at no charge.
If we get it wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The map on the contact page is embedded from Google, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads — that is Google's, not ours, and their policy governs it.
